Slow Waters Run Deep

I don't know why, but I am slow to understand things right away. And I was feeling really upset about it a few days ago. And my Pastor from my Church said "Don't worry Emily, slow waters run deep." And that made me feel a lot better! :) So if anyone ever feels like they are the only one not understanding something, don't be upset about it! You are not the only one! And it's not that you aren't smart, it just takes a little more time! God Bless! ~Emily

Psalm

Blessed is the man that walk in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in his law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in it's season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.

The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff wich the wind drives away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,Nor sinners in the congregation of the rightouse.

For the Lord knows the way of the rightous, But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Happy those who do not follow the counsel of the wicked, Nor go the way of sinners, nor sit in company with scoffers.

Rather, the law of the Lord is their joy; God's law they study day and night.

They are like a tree planted near streams of water, that yields its fruit in season; Its leaves never wither; whatever they do prospers.

But not the wicked! They are like chaff driven by the wind.

Therefore the wicked will not survive judgment, nor will sinners in the assembly of the just.

The Lord watches over the way of the just, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin. Psalm 1
